At what age can my children start tennis coaching?
We coach children from as young as 4 years old. Our lessons are about developing motor skills in a fun environment.
Does my child require their own racquet?
No, we have racquets available for children to use during the lesson. We do recommend that children have their own racquet. We have racquets available for purchase and can assist in getting the correct size.
What do I need to wear and bring to coaching?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We highly recommend tennis shoes, but flat soled runners are acceptable. A hat, sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended on hot days.
Do I have to re-enrol each term?
No, If you are already enrolled your spot is carried over to the next term. An invoice will be sent out 2 weeks before the commencement of term. To secure your spot payment must be made by the due date.
How do I enrol?
New enrolments must contact Metro Tennis to confirm availability . Once confirmed please download an “Enrolment Form” from the website. Complete the form and return it via email or post.
What happens if it rains?
If you are in doubt please contact your coach 15min prior to your lesson commencing. If they do not pick up please assume the lesson is going ahead as we do not answer any calls while we are on the court.
How are wash out lessons made up?
Our programs run 1 week short of the state school terms. This allows for the last week of term as a make up week for any lessons missed due to bad weather.
Can I get a refund if I miss a lesson?
No, we have held the spot for you. The cost will remain the same whether you attend or not.
How do I join the club?
Metro Tennis only runs tennis coaching programs. All membership enquiries can be made directly through to Middle Park Tennis Club and Port Melbourne Tennis Club.
